I am a 55-year-old cyclist.
About two years ago I was battling my weight. About 310 pounds and my health was in decline. I Had fatty liver, sleep apnea, and due to a car accident, I had Edema in my left leg.

I felt that it was time for a change. I needed to get my life back, and my health back. That year I had bariatric surgery. This changed my life. I also wanted to make sure that I kept my life this way.

While I was in recovery for my leg surgery, they would put me on a stationary bike to warm up (I loved it!).

I decided that to make the decision to change my lifestyle and attitude about my health. I started cycling soon after my bariatric surgery. I have been cycling ever since.
